The Xenatec officials say that the paint was applied in several stages and finishing processes to achieve this special color.

While Dieter Zetsche said that anything is possible in the future of the Maybach brand, it seems that the German car manufacturer is preparing a new generation of Maybach. This time, the Stuttgart manufacturer will not use an older platform like S-Class (for the first 57 and 62 models was used the W140 platform), but it will be based directly to W222, the platform of the future S-Class. This generation of S-Class will be launched in 2013, while the new Maybach will debut in 2014.
According to the British from Autocar, the new generation of the luxury model will have a new chance at life after a series of reviews of the first generation have shown a real interest in the new generation. Meanwhile, the Daimler engineers have acknowledged that the use of the W140 platform for Maybach was a mistake, and made the upgrade of the navigation systems and the safety control extremely difficult, costly or impossible due to the electronic systems from 1990 that were taken directly from the S-Class.
The future Maybach will benefit from the new Magic Ride system from Mercedes Benz. Thanks to this suspension system, the German luxury model will provide an exceptional roadholding with a level of comfort equivalent to that of Rolls-Royce Phantom. The new generation of the Phantom will debut in 2016, so Maybach would have a chance to attract some extra customers during the two years before the Phantom launch.
The first series copy of Xenatec Maybach 57S coupe was put on sale. The model is called Cruseiro and has a price of 715,000 euros. The copy in question has a higher price than previously announced, of 675,000 euros, because is the first copy of the series. Although it is called Maybach, the model was produced by the specialists from Xenatec, that announced this conversion a few months ago. For now, the Maybach Cruseiro is set out in Saudi Arabia.

According to preliminary information, the future S-Class platform will generate a range of four Maybach models, more advanced technologically with more powerful engines and even a hybrid system.
The successor of 57 and 62 models will be powered by a V2 and 6.0 liters engine, changed radically to provide resources over 550 HP and 630 HP delivered by the current versions. The torque will stop at 1000 Nm in order to properly exploit the transmission with seven reports signed by Mercedes.
A future hybrid version will will be powered by a gasoline engine assisted by an electrical unit capable of delivering only 25 HP. The complex will be connected to an automatic gearbox with nine reports. The hybrid will travel only 15 miles in the electric mode, but the emissions will decrease by at least 30%.
The two luxury models but will not be the only one of the range, the Germans preparing a sports sedan in the style of current CFA. Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe will not escape so easily, the Stuttgart car manufacturer intending to develop a convertible limousine, inspired by the Mercedes Ocean Drive concept.
